The good news is the hard work of council staff, the police and wardens is starting to pay off. Recently it was agreed the following steps would be taken:
- Anti graffiti and fly posting signs erected on the main walls on Kingsland Road and Old Street underneath the bridge .
- Effective monitoring of the area provided through consistent patrols by the community wardens and coordinated monitoring of the area through the central CCTV networks
- Deep cleaning of the walls by the Cleaning Team at Hackney Waste Management
